• the goods are delivered to the port using railroad cars or container carriers;
• containers are checked and loaded onto the ship.
• containers used for cargo are 20-pound and 40-pound. A large part of all transportation falls on the first type, the share of which in the general system of freight transportation is about 75%. They are more often used for heavy loads. 40-pounders are used mainly for transporting less heavy but more voluminous loads.
